Chaos and Meaning

I have always been fascinated by the paintings of Jackson Pollock. The randomness and chaos inherent in his style produce incredible works of art that feel meaningful. Maybe the randomness in his paintings produces meaning, or maybe there is something about human beings that makes us want to find meaning in chaos. I am also a mathematician studying random curves in space. The images in this collection are the result of fitting curves to random sets of points. At the same time, I hope the randomness in these images can allow us to find meaning in chaos.
